What does it mean to be ashamed of the truth?
Well…
Are you reluctant to teach something that you know is true just because it will raise the ire of those who disagree?
Are you not letting your light shine because you don’t want the repercussions?
Are you watering down the doctrines that you do believe because you feel ‘the truth’ is too strong a drink for your friends?
Are you avoiding discussions about doctrine in the name of unity and peace?
Are you more interested in having friends of man than being a friend of God?
Are you reluctant to speak merely because of the stress you will feel?
Are you pretending that you are just like everyone else in order to maintain your popularity?
Are you inwardly moral but outwardly acting like the rest of the crowd?
Are you speaking the name of Jesus a lot, or is religion more your bag?
Are you praying for the lost, and for opportunity to speak the truth in love; or just a silent Christian?
Are you open to hearing what people have to say when they believe they have truth to offer?
Are you in love with the truth or do you just have a friendship relationship with it?
Remember. The truth we defend is really The Truth we are defending. Jesus is The Truth, and all He said is truth.
Remember: In the court of heaven there are Witnesses and there are Opposers; there are NO NEUTRALS.
Suggestion: Become a defender of truth before it is too late.
