Imagine for a moment that you are the ruler and creator of the universe. You can do ANYTHING you want to do. You can think in a microsecond and what you think becomes instant reality. Each and every time that you think, YOU CREATE. Every time you create, a new manifestation of your own hands materializes before your face. Without fail, you speak and it happens. NOTHING happens without you making it happen!
After a while of creating, and doing whatever YOU wanted to do, and being what YOU wanted to be, and enjoying the works of YOUR hands, what would you still be lacking?
One little boy in the room jumped up and shouted, “I know, I know!” The teacher turned smiling and said, “And the answer is?”
The boy grinned, “Somebody to do something for ME!”
And indeed therein is the revelation of what it is that is so important to the ruler-creator of the universe. HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANTS, but only someone else can do something FOR HIM that He never asked for. The plants obey His every command. The waves roar when He thinks it, and the winds whistle when He wills it. The rains fall, the dews settle, and the moisture evaporates EXACTLY like He thought it should go. But with YOU it is not so! With YOU it is voluntary! Ruler-Creator has created beings who have the power to create (and thereby rule) too; not to the magnitude that HE can do it, but with the same decision of THOUGHT AND WILL. YOU can CREATE love for Him and HE FEELS LOVE! You can SING praise at HIM and He feels LOVED. You can talk to HIM and affect His heart in a way that NO OTHER LIVING THING CAN DO. There is NO ONE that is YOU. What you give to Him of yourself is something that this ALMIGHTY ruler and creator could never ‘create’ by merely thinking it into existence, nor rule by His power.
Hasn’t He done a lot for YOU? Can’t you hear Him say, ‘What about Me?
